North Carolina Department of Public Safety – Crime Victim Compensation Services
Reimburses citizens who suffer medical expenses and lost wages as a result of being an innocent victim of a crime committed in North Carolina. Victims of rape, assault, child sexual abuse, domestic violence and drunk driving, as well as the families of homicide victims, are eligible to apply for financial help.

Day Shelter. Helps women in need of affordable housing, food, transportation(bus tickets), personal hygiene productos, clothing, direct financial assistance,mail and message services, access to a phone and aid in obtaining an id card.
Domestic violence prevention and crisis service organisation to assist South Asian (Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka) victims of domestic violence in North Carolina.
Shelter and counselling to emotionally, psychologically, and sexually abusedchildren. Helps with educational and non-educational materials and tuition feeswhere necessary; offers vocational education program for single mother toenhance their labor skills.
